All baggage will be collected near the starting line. Please have your bag closed prior to handing it to the volunteers. They will write your bib number on a tag and attach it to your bag.
Riverview Park, 465 Riverview Road, Palmerton, PA 18071. Runners must be at the starting line 10 minutes prior to the start for final instructions. Please line up according to anticipated pace, faster runners near the front and slower runners further back. There will be a wave start with approximately 100 participants starting every 30 seconds. All walkers will start at the same time after the runners.
For those walkers attempting to walk an evenly paced race to achieve a specific time, we are offering at least five pace groups ranging from about 2:45 to 4:30. (The number of pace groups and times will depend upon the number of participants and estimated finish times.) Pacers will be easily identified.
There are four aid stations on the course. They will be located at the 3, 5, 8, and 10-mile marks. Fluids will include water and Gatorade. Gels will also be provided. Porta-Johns will be available at all stations.
Each mile of the course will be accurately marked. All turns and the turn around point will be clearly marked with signs and staffed with volunteers. There are no major road crossings. There will be a clock at the finish line. Please run past the finish line and proceed to the end of the chute. Instant results will be available within two minutes of finishing.

Food and beverages to be served near the finish line following the completion of the race. Food and beverages are for participants only. There will be signs and volunteers directing you to the food truck(s).
Walker’s awards will be presented at the finish line beginning at 10:00. There will be signs and volunteers directing you to the awards. Present your instant results print out to claim your award.
Our race exists because of our 150 volunteers. If you have friends or family who aren’t participating but want to experience the event, encourage them to volunteer by registering at our “Volunteer” tab. All volunteers will receive a tech T-shirt and a meal following the event. Individuals or groups are welcome.
Parking is available at Riverview Park and at several small lots within walking distance of the start of the race. Look for signs and volunteers to guide you to available parking.
